Co-President's Letter

Dear NSS Families:

We are delighted to welcome both new and returning families to North Street School. We look forward to once again working with our amazing teachers and staff, with our Principal, Ms. Jill Flood and our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Jessica McEvily at the helm.

The PTA is an important part of the North Street School experience. Our main goal is to provide academic, cultural and social programs for our children to enhance their learning. We also support our teachers and staff, and act to unify our school community. We are eager to hear your ideas and suggestions and to act as your representatives to the Administration and within the Town of Greenwich.

In order to fulfill our mission for a unified parent/teacher community, we strive for 100% PTA membership. Dues are as low as $25/family/year. Please visit our Membership Toolkit website or app (MTK) for additional information on how to join as well as details on the array of activities we provide. As a member of the PTA, we welcome your input into policy and programs, and you are entitled to a vote at all PTA meetings. Only members of the PTA receive access on Membership Toolkit to the NSS PTA directory.

Joining the PTA requires no volunteer time. However, we hope that all families, during your years at NSS, will want to share your time and talents with our children. On our website, you will find a roster of PTA positions. If you are interested in helping with any of these committees, please sign up on the site.
